tomato salad, cornish hens, Sangria

Some more recipes

I am adding a couple of more recipes on the cooks exchange page - the first is a really simple tomato salad recipe - it is after all tomato season and I eat a tomato at least once a day, every day. So I love this time of year. I can't seem to say no to a tomato that passes me by. I frequent a farmers market that sells heirloom tomatoes - which are unbelievable and should be used for simple tomato/basil salads,or more complex bread/tomato salads, and gazpachos.

The next recipe is for cornish hens. It's origin is Spain but really easy to make and gets quite a few cudos (did I spell that right?). This recipe is good enough for entertaining as well as family, easy to make and can be doubled, tripled whatever.

The last recipe is for Sangria. I was speaking with someone today and we were talking about booze, what can I say. Anyway we both mentioned that during this time of the year a good Sangria is great to have. So here is my recipe. I will initiate my new drinking page with this one.

speak to you soon. pi

In July 2006, Anthony and his crew traveled to Lebanon and discovered a beautiful country with proud, generous people and delicious food. However, within 24 hours of arrival, they were suddenly stuck in the middle of an intense and uncertain conflict. The Travel Channel - Monday 8/17 10pm est.
