my first post

Hi- My name is Pirchia (like Maria, only with a P). This is my first post and it is an introduction to this site. I was about to explode-it’s taken me 4 years of procrastination to start this. I couldn’t get it out of my system so I have now begun. I don’t write. It’s not my thing. I am not an extrovert. That’s not my thing. But cooking, food, and all that goes with it - that is my thing. For oodles of years I have collected and amassed so much stuff about the world of food but somehow it’s useless if I don’t share it. That is what brings me here. But I need your help in making it be productive – help in making it useful – help in making it a sharing experience. I need and want your contributions; whether it be commentary, suggestions, web sites, recipes, books or anything to do with the world of food. This is a site about sharing, sharing everything about food. I have started to create the pages but there are more pages to come and more details in each of the pages that will follow. There will be sources to cooking web sites, recipes, tips, magazine sources, and as many resources as possible which will provide answers to questions about food. What I am hoping to accomplish is a convenient source for information, located at our fingertips and accessible so that we don't have to search the web hi and lo everytime we want a recipe or a simple answer. You say it’s been done-but has it; in some ways yes but somehow not really. Not completely and simple to access, simple to search, simple to contribute to, to grow, to use; without losing your wherewithal. With your help with contributions and suggestions the listing of interesting sites, recipes, tips, resources will grow. I hope that this will become a great resource and one that not only you but also me will reach for. I will continue to add information to all the pages as well as add more pages. Each page will have posts and information pertaining to that pages topic (at least that is my intention). Well I better sign off now and post this before I chicken out.).Speak to you soon.).
